Kircher question

In debate has come up, what the 17th century monk and
super-intellectual Kircher said about musical tuning and in particular
keyboard tuning. He is referred in the Tonalsoft encyclopedia to as a
theorist of 53-EDO - but does anyone know whether he described other
tunings, and where and how to apply them?
