Yes, your guess is correct , I like this method . I always think about
using melodic contours in different modal spaces and systems.

Last night I and my friend who plays tar were playing an improvisation
in shur with my tombak. I asked him about this and he told me that such
a thing is applicable in persian music for example we have melodic
contour common in shur and homayun but with different intervallic
structure.

Indeed, I listened to them all. And I agree with Ozan
that the piece in 14-EDO is quite delectable. I'd like to
hear what you could make of this tuning in a longer piece.

My next favourite was the 7-EDO version of the "C
major" piece.

I guess that means you wrote something in 12-EDO C
major first, then later retuned it in 7-ADO, 7-EDO and
14-EDL, keeping the same melodic contours and keeping
each C note fixed? It sounds like that. Or did you
transform it in some other way?
