More on feeling

Forgot to mention this...I have CD's of two great classical guitarists playing the same Bach violin partita in E major, and I've listened to both numerous times. And, after listening repeatedly, one of the performances moves me, and the other does nothing for me. So, what can I do about that? The notes are played perfectly in both versions, but one doesn't make me feel anything, and the other one does. So, if I am talking to people about it, I'm going to say exactly that; to my ears, one of these maestros doesn't have much feeling when they play Bach, and the other one does And that's the way it is...best..HHH

Care to be more specific? I'd love to hear what you are talking about.
I would think you could certainly identify technical differences and try
to determine how they impact the perceived difference, but anyway,
please do share more info. Thanks!
