Unfortunately, I can't find the thing at the
San Diego Reader web site yet:

http://www.sdreader.com/

I met and talked to Jonathan Glasier today
at the Sonic Arts Gallery, and he said that the
original interview for the article occured just
after the Oklahoma City bombing 13 years ago! :) LOL
ROTFWL

The Mill of Microtonality must grind exceedingly
finely and slowly! :) LOL ROTFWL

I *just* missed meeting you, as i showed up at
the Sonic Arts Gallery right after you left.

That article actually appeared in the Reader
13 years ago. Jonathan told me that he didn't like
the article then, and he's really pissed off that
they just reprinted it now, without any mention of
how old it is.

Really, it's quite ridiculous: it says right at the
beginning how the author wanted to contact Ivor, but
unfortunately was told on the phone that "he died
8 months ago". He died in *1994*!!

I don't have a clue why the article was just reprinted
intact as it had appeard back then, without any mention
of its age. At another point where it mentions Jonathan,
it says that he's "almost 50". Since i attended his
*60th* birthday party last year, this is really ludicrous.

Such is the publicity that we microtonalists have
to put up with: this article will indeed get a few
more people coming around to Sonic Arts, but really,
it should have been noted that the article is a reprint
of one which appeared a *long* time ago.

PS (personal) -- Bill, i bought a bike for you. Email
me and tell me how to get it to you.
