Why Inversions Are NOT "Structural":

It's because inverting a scale/set/tuning does NOT change the
internal interval content/scale step order, it just turns it
"upside down" in pitch/registral space, like taking an oil
painting and displaying it upside down. Sure, it looks
different, but it hasn't changed the internal aesthetic
relationships within the painting, ONLY the position
from which they are being viewed.

Sorry, but these weak analogies are simply unconvincing.
