The solo one from late 70's where he plays this Yamaha organ thru delays?
I believe Pat played it for me. It is very nice. Also Harp of New Albion
is okay. All in all Riley's music is a one-pony act when it works, and
subtly offensive when it doesn't (i.e. Saxophone quartet stuff).

Don't get it confused with Persian Surgery Dervishes which uses
tape delay. The delays on Shri Camel are digital. Many of them.

There's Persian Surgery Dervishes
Shandar 83501, Released 1972

Reissued as:
Persian Surgery Dervishes (re-issue on CD)
New Tone 129806715 2, Released 1993
CD1 - recorded live in LA, 4/71
CD2 - recorded live in Paris, 5/72

Descending Moonshine Dervishes
Kukuck 074, Released 1982
Recorded live in Berlin, 11/75

and Shri Camel, CBS Masterworks M35164 , Released 1978

I'm not even sure the Dervishes are in a tuning. I know that
Shri Camel is 7 limit.

I was working on a discography in December and never finished it.

My understanding was the other way around but I'm missing Shri Camel
somehow. Des. moon. Dervishes is described in the back liner notes of being
in just. This is my personal favorite as I find Terry at his best when his
counterpoint has room to breathe. I still prefer him playing his music as
opposed to his compositions for others. But then again , after writing in
just I can't understand have you can go back to 12ET. But Lou has managed
to do it too!

Well...run, don't walk and grab a copy of Shri Camel now!

Woops! You're right!

I never thought of that way. It did take me a long time to get into
his string quartets.

I know that Riley's recent keyboard music contains more
modulations than in the old days...
