I'm too busy at the moment (moving house and studio - two blocks away) to go to Istanbul and jump on Ozan; (as suggested by Monz)
(anyway he did a such great job of singing "Highgate Cemetery" - which we shall be final mixing during Easter hols.)

Instead of repeating myself again on this issue please refer to my comments at:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucy_Tuning

I am assuming that no new thoughtless "editors/censors" have been messing with the article again;-)

Happy tuning!

Well, it's not really kosher for you to edit it at all, since it's
about something you're heavily involved with. It's not forbidden, of
course, but you have no more control over its contents than anyone
else.

What about adding to articles which are pretty minimal? I see you
found a Paul Erlich article, and I'm sure Paul could add to it. I find
there is Gene Ward Smith article, but without much substance.

Well, I'm no expert on Wikipedia policy, but I think it would be okay
as long as you add only verifiable facts, and don't get upset when
someone else edits it.

Personally, if someone started an article about me, I'd put it up for
deletion, because I'm not notable (yet).

Joe Monzo's article, on the other hand, is an invariable
encyclopedia.

I mentioned to Joe that a Tonalsoft biography project, where the
tuning and MMM regulars would be encouraged to write an
autobiographical sketch and send it in to him for inclusion in a
Tonalsoft biography section, could be a real addition. I'm proposing
it again publically.

That would be OK, but it would be against policy for you to simply
unilaterally delete it, even if the article was about you. You don't
own articles whose subject is you.

Exactly.

Yes, please, by all means, send me bios! We plan to have
an "Artists" section on our website, which will provide
a separate page for each microtonal composer, with a bio,
and links to mp3's of their music.

Our goal is to make tonalsoft.com *the* place to go on
the internet to find microtonal music, and info on it and
its composers and performers.

Why don't you kick it off with an example bio so we have a template?

Of the regulars on this list, either all are notable, or only
Paul E., Gene S., Graham B., and perhaps Neil H. and Kraig G.
are.

Here's what I find, where "yes" and "no" means does and does not have
a Wikipedia article, however minimal:

Paul Erlich: yes
Gene Smith: yes
Graham Breed: no
Neil Haverstick: no
Kraig Grady: yes
Johnny Reinhard: yes
Kyle Gann: yes
Joe Monzo: yes
Joseph Pehrson: no
Prent Rodgers: no
Jeff Harrington: no
George Secor: no (though secors are mentioned)
Dave Keenan: no
Aaron Johnson: no (but Divide by Pi has an entry)
Margo Schulter: no (but she's cited in a few places)
Carl Lumma: no (but Beefman is a user entry)
