Hi Keenan.

I've looked how the Yahoo interface treated your message and there it said
"Attachment not stored". This means that everyone who only receives digests
or reads the posts on the web probably won't find it. OTOH, everyone who
receives individual emails should be able to find it okay.
Just wondering how large attachments I could send this way.

I did not receive any Keenan attachments. I got the file from the link.

IMO, 153kB (olympics.ogg size) is already a too big attachment for a mailing list. 60kB or 70kB are good maximum sizes for message+attachments in a list. Many people (like me) still use dial-up internet conections, and not all people will be interested on all attachments. Small messages, preferently in *pure text* (instead of HTML) saves passing band. yahoo by default converts all messages into html, but it is easy change this visiting the link "edit membership" in the web page of the list.

Best,
Hudson

Yeah, I just wasn't thinking. In the future I'll just FTP things to
the comcast site.
