Does anyone know anything about Jim French, inventor of the
Frenchophone? Or his current whereabouts or doings?

I'd be certain that Kraig Grady can get in contact with him, but Kraig
is only sporadically on the list right now. If he doesn't reply, send
him an email off-list.

Cheers,
Jon

Jim came to the housewarming party my roommates and i had
when i moved into my new place last spring. It was my first
time meeting him -- Jonathan Glasier invited him over.
He lives in the San Diego area, "North County".

I can tell him how to contact you -- write to me offlist.

It would also only be right to mention that in one of
the bedrooms Jim treated a few of us to great little concert.
I was most impressed when he performed on his "bimodal flutes":
two of his tin-whistle-type flutes, in two different tunings,
simultaneously. He's pretty amazing.

French is the most amazing musician I've ever gotten
psychically drunk with, and one of the most amazing
musicians I've ever met, period.

He makes the best mead I've ever had, and I've tried quite a
few kinds.
