In the recent debate about creating a web archive of tuning digest messages
(how's it coming???), a few contributors made the argument that the onelist
archives are available to subscribers only, and that they should not be made
available to a larger audience.
I just checked and one does not have to be recognized as a member of the
tuning list in order to access the tuning@onelist archives.
Moreover, there are hundreds of messages from 1995 that have been on a
publically-accessible web page
(http://www.math.jyu.fi/~ritait/hyper/tuning/) for years.
Personally, I think these are good things.

Hi Paul E.,
It's coming along. My apologies for the delay.
