Sound Cards Advice

Hey folks,

I am researching soundcards capable of micro tuning. What are y'alls
recommendations? I have checked the microtonal synthesis page
(http://freeweb.pdq.net/jloffink/default.htm) which has lead me to the
Turtle Beach line. Their Pinnicle sound card is pricey so I am looking for
alternatives.

Also, does anyone know if soundcards have improved on the 1.56 cent tuning
resolution that is the best resolution indicated for sound cards on the
microtonal synthesis page?

I think a synth midi-module is the best bet so far. Or wait for Bobs micro
controller!!
