12EDO/22EDO Tritone Significance:

Yes, as one poster pointed out, the 22EDO tuning has
10 more pitch classes than the 12EDO tuning on/from
which a tritone can be sounded, but I don't think that's
the most important test musically at all.

When all of the interval classes of a tuning are sounded
in both directions in context (in what I call an
all-interval-class/all-contour melody), the tritone is one
of only 6 interval classes in 12EDO, while it is only one
of 11 interval classes in 22EDO, therefor the tritone is
more prominent in that sense in 12EDO.
