Advertising on tuning list - more interesting - than JI regurgitations ....

I thoroughly approve of Monz's sig. and ad. link.

His site is much more interesting and useful to me than most of the JI "rehashed" ratios and zero beating posts.

Guess I'll have to live with the notion that I'm never entitled to a treatment above being a potential customer.

Monz, please forgive my sensitivity if I cause you any hurt. I respect your business and contributions greatly. Disregard my posts if you find them irrelevant to our discussions.

Cordially,
Oz.

If i'm going to sell microtonal music software, and

i'm posting to *this* list, it only makes sense to

put the link in my signature.

I have to think of *everybody* as a potential customer
if i want Tonescape to be a success. ;-)

I try to be accomodating to a person's wishes -- so
if you want me to treat you a certain way, then just
specify the treatment to which you feel you're entitled,
and i'll do my best to not offend you.

By displaying the signature which i choose to display,
i'm treating everyone on the tuning list the same way,
so hopefully you won't take that so personally.

I don't require a special treatment Monz. I am beginning to understand the
ways of the Western culture though. No, I'm not offended... just
dissapointed, that's all. I imagined that there would be a time for
advertising, and a time for academic study... guess I am mistaken then.

Cordially,
Oz.

Why would you take Monz as an example of "the ways of the Western
culture"? There are many, many other Westerners here who share your
ideals on this, Oz. And ironically, Monz himself has written more than
just about any of us on the evils of capitalism, so this recent turn of
his was a particularly surprising one at least from this Westerner's
point of view. Please, don't lump us all together so!

Best,
Paul

Yes, my mistake in the heat of the moment. Please accept my apologies Paul.
Shockingly revealing is how, given sufficient time, certain investments tend
to turn the staunchest socialist into a freemarket guru. To think that I
consider myself a liberal-minded muslim!.. (Invest in pieces, J. M. Keynes)

Cordially,
Oz.

I don't want to go too far into this here ... metatuning
is the place for it. In my heart i'm still a socialist,
but i live in a capitalist society, so in order to survive
that's the game i have to play. I still don't like it.

Uh, monz, I shall not return to metatuning, but if you want to converse with
me on such issues as politics and norms, hypertuning might be the place:

/hypertuning/?yguid=244250769

All interested parties are invited of course. The rule of the game is to
refrain from taunts and insults... A principle I was dissapointed to notice
the lack of in the other quarter.

Oz.
