CD review

Just saw a review of my latest disc "Stick Man" in the October issue of Cadence mag, as well as a review of "29 Pieces for the Microtonal Guitar," by Sten Hostfalt. It's always interesting to see micro music reviewed in commercial publications, because 1. it may turn new people on to the scene who know nothing about it, and 2. I get a kick out of seeing critics try to describe the music. This guy actually did a pretty good job, overall, and I think he got a number of the essential musical things that were happening. He described some of the riffs and concepts really well, and non micro folks should be able to get an idea of what's happening. I don't know Sten's CD (has anybody here heard it, or know him?), but it got a nice write up too. Cadence is not a big mag, their site is cadencebuilding.com, but I don't know if they post their issues...best...HHH
