Easley Blackwood did a nice 18 tone piece on his "Microtonal" CD...and, one of my students has a 24 tone electric guitar, and I think, personally, that it's a good tuning for nasty sounding rock and fusion stuff...HHH PS...and, I think if pop groups like Green Day started using tunings like, say, 19 eq, it would be a marvelous step forward for the music...
