dear Tunesters
I will later this weekend be posting up to the list very small real player files
that feature video and sound examples of Our mircointerval monophonic Cat-gut
synthesizer and the Modified Arp Omni
the Cat-gut (made from an old Octave cat synth) uses the scale
1/1 17/16 9/8 7/6 9/7 4/3 7/5 3/2 14/9 12/7 7/4 27/14 as its notes
while as you may or may not recall the Arp is tuned to LaMonte Young's WTP
tuning.

The first installment will most likely feauture David Govoni of the Experimental
Audio Initiative dervishing on the monophonic Cat.

The second will be myself on the Arp

The third(hopefully) will feature Shree Darren's JI carillon

I will make sure these are very small as to not clog up emails and will gladly
send them flat out to folks who get the digest
also if you are on the Icq and prefer the larger AVI or Quicktime (please
specify) i will gladly send those as well.

This is a basic attempt to catalogue and document some of the more exciting of
our works of the last year since Guru Genovese's departure.

We have also been exploring and employing the JI advantages of Csound
-thanks to Dante,Bill Alves& Prent Rodgers(indirectly) and all others who helped
