Danielou describes the 7 intervals as the demonic numbers or deva numbers drawing
in powers us humans may not be able to understand, i personally always tune my Bb
to a 7/4 on a 64 cycle base at 448hz and use the 7/6 and the 7/5 at Eb and F#

Piano builiders have the hammers hit the strings at 7:4, thus knocking it out
of the aggregate sound. The artificial node created by the 7:4's wake would
add siginicantIy to the inharmonicity of the musical tone. I believe this is
reported by Helmholtz. Not sure this is still as widely practiced.

That is maybe why my Uncle hates African-American Blues & Rock musics...
He is very "Sino-centric" & says that these musics have evil in their roots,
that almost anything African-American is tainted by the bad blood of slavery
& that a people severed from their ancestors en masse have no hope of
substantial recovery of their history... I say : opinions & nether regions...
