No slights intended re: Scott's Lil' Miss Scale Oven or Manuel's Scala

I decided to use Max Microtuner, when I was setting up my own OSX system.
Four + years ago, neither LMSO nor Scala were entirely practical to use with OSX.
I didn't have the patience to learn a bunch of command line instructions, and was then also having enough problems
getting Logic on OSX to do what I wanted musically.

So I bought and use what worked easily for me at the time, and haven't looked recently to compare.

I presume that LMSO, Scala and others have now have developed their own GUI's and refinements.

Another case of first to market, gets the lion's share;-)

It would be useful if anyone who has used these and any other systems, would post a "Which report" type comparison.

Makes perfectly good sense - whenever I find something that works just
as I need, the urge to keep looking goes waaaaay down. :)

Scala is wonderful, if a tad quirky, but Manuel *had* improved the gui
with input from users. LMSO seems to always be getting refined, but
alas, I can't use it. I should mention that X. J. is an avid
microtonal composer and long-time member of this 'community', and it
is always nice to offer support to people such as this.

As to Max Microtuner, I believe Victor has a Yahoo group for the app.

Cheers,
Jon
