classification by families of scale patterns

Before designing yet another classification system for patterns of scale, may I suggest that those interested examine the system which I developed from one evening's discussion with Jonathan Glasier and John Gibbon, about fifteen years ago in John's "Crystal House" above Tujunga, CA.
It seems to work very well for meantone and edo systems, and may also be suitable or extendable for other patterns.

Hi Charles,

The string "coding" doesn't appear on that page except in the
title bar and in a link at the bottom to further resources.
In any case, I'm at a loss to see how it applies here. Can
you explain on the list (rather than always posting links
to web pages)?
