WKCR-FM 89.9 Columbia University station in NYC will present a morning
devoted to Charles Ives and the "Universe Symphony." They will broadcast the entire
CD uninterrupted...at least that's the game plan. It was important to me that
the piece be played on the airwaves in its entirety. Maybe somebody has the
website for hearing it over the Internet? I'll be in the studio by 9:20 AM
EST. Johnny Reinhard :)

I've already got the CD - before Wednesday, do you think you could
post as to whether they are going to interview you on the process,
etc, or are they simply going to play the recording?

Congrats, by the way!

Cheers,
Jon

Yes, I am to be interviewed before and after the uninterrupted broadcast by
the Classical Music Director.

Thanks, Jon, for the web site. Johnny

No problem, break a leg. Or tongue, or something. BTW, when you say:

I'm guessing you'll be interviewed at 9:30 or 10:00 - if you find out,
could you post the time? I'd have to get up at 6:30 or so, not
musician's hours, so I may try to write a script that will fire up the
browser and an audio recorder and dial it in while I sleep! :)

Cheers,
Jon

Yep, the program begins at 9:30 AM, and runs through noon (maybe 12:30).

Let's get some sleep tonight! ;) Johnny
