I did a bit of searching on de olde woild woid vebb, and found out that
it does wok within limits. Good enough for experimentation, sequencing,
etc.

There are some limitations though, most importantly, it cannot send
pitch bend messages, so bending strings is pointless.

It's also been improved a whole lot since the system first came out
and cost in excess of $350. Now it's down to...hold your breath...
US$99.95. Complete. With software for Macs or Windows and OMS
compatibility.
Wow ! For 99.95 nobody should complain.

If you need pitch bends, you could always get a MIDI continuous
controller pedal, @US$150, I think...
