Yes that's fine. Actually rather than continue with a long
reply here, why not provide a link to a web page. I'm working on drafting a completely
new web site for my programs. So the material
in my e-mails about this would be a good starting
point for a web page about this which is certainly
an FTS FAQ.

draft but wrote it again from scratch rather than
rehash the old material on the site:

Anyway whatever works, if it works well then that's fine. Using tuning tables
makes a lot of sense, and partiuclarly with
monotimbral synths it may sometimes be the only
way that does work.
