"On Wednesday I'm in NJ for Harry Partch opera's Oedipus, in
Montclair. Why Montcair? The armory of microtonal instruments that the
remarkable Partch constructed for the performance of his music is now
in the possession of Montclair State University."

Anyone going to record it?

Hi Prent,

I am playing the Adapted Guitars and Pollux in this production. Bob
McGrath and Ridge Theater have done an earth-shattering realization
of
this work. This is not to be missed, it is that extraordinary. The NY
Times has an article in Tuesday's Arts section (page E6) and the NJ
Star-Ledger features the production in its Spotlight section last
Sunday (and sent photographers again for today's dress rehearsal).

As for a publicly issued recording, I cannot say.
