Stick Man!

Neil and all!

I bought this from guitar 9 and popped it in
yesterday. Haven't had a chance to listen
in depth yet, but it sounds like clearly your
best since Acoustic Stick.

Well, 5 seconds ago I was faxing a job acceptance
letter to a tech company in San Francisco, here
at the Keyboard Magazine offices in San Mateo,
when I saw the Stick Man cover lying next to my
friend Patrick's scanner (he's an art director for
Guitar Player). Realizing that my copy was
safely on my desk, I asked him where he got it.
He said he was scanning it for their May reviews
section. And sure enough, I checked their May
proofs, and Barry Cleveland reviewed it. Keep
yer eyes on the May issue of GP!

I'm going to miss this job (but I'll be staying
on as a freelancer for Keyboard).

Cheers!

-Carl

Hello Carl, we had seen your review of Cakewalk Kinetic in Sept. 2004 ;-)

This said:

"Carl Lumma has been playing keyboard for ten years. He studied classical
piano at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA and jazz piano at Indiana
University in Bloomington, IN. In the late '90s he composed a chamber music
series, selections of which have been performed by the Regal Brass Quartet.
A member of the Just Intonation Network, he is actively pursuing
technologies that will enable a new generation of microtonal music."

Congratulations on your new position - surely it will be for the best of all
of us!

Greetings

Thanks Dominique! I'm flattered you saw it. Just to be clear,
this is the position I'm leaving as of March 31st. But I'm
staying on as a freelancer, so all is not lost!
