Monz,

I don't know how I'd hope to keep up with those blogs,
on top of everything else in the tuning & tuning-math lists
as well as sundry irrelevancies like prior commitments -
some of them paid!

I'm gradually reading thru some of the reference material
that has been mentioned in recent posts, and the TonalSoft
site is a part of that.

Regards,
Yahya

yes, thanks for that ... right now the Encyclopedia is
a complete mess. we have totally redesigned it so that
we will be able to use software to maintain the links.
i'm in the process of converting it, and have only just
gotten to the "E"'s.

right now i'm only doing the "regular" Encyclopedia entries.
some stuff is residing on the Tonalsoft site, and some
is being pointed to the Sonic Arts site, until i get it done.

my longer essays (such as the Arab Lute page) will be
re-introduced one at a time after the regular Encyclopedia
is finished.

i will also be doing a weekly blog called "inTune", and
one feature of it will be the announcement of each of my
longer essays as they are completed and uploaded.

BTW, we have 2 other blogs already up and running: Tonalsoft
co-founder Chris is writing a tech blog called "The Pitch Bend",
and Jonathan Glasier is writing a news/events/gossip column
for the microtonal community called "MicroBeat". you can
find both from our homepage.

Monz,

Just checked out the home page, inTune, MicroBeat and
PitchBend.

Now I'm mystified by the Musica Alpha release. Is this still
available for members of the tuning list who didn't register
by your February deadline? It sounds exciting to be able
to see the tuning lattice and use it as acompositional tool!

Regards,
Yahya
