The discussion of virtual pitch is near the end of the second
chapter. The sound examples for the first two chapters are in:

As Paul indicated, the model for virtual pitch of inharmonic sounds
is fairly crude, but it is effective for sounds without too many
partials. Also, please note that the model is from Moore's papers.
