Although nominally in 12tet, the new album "Fascinoma" by Jon Hassel is
definitely an adventure in tuning. I highly recommend it as an example of
"12tet" that is not bereft of new ideas.

Amazing album. Of course he's yet another student of
Pandit Pran Nath. Apparently the Kirana Girana (Kirana *school*)
is obsessed with being in tune, or at least PPN was.

And Jon Hassell is an amazing, unique trumpet player,
he deserves much more credit than he receives.
