Glen-
You were right to question me, because I was experiencing a brain
fart! Keepers only work when they cover both north and south poles of a
magnet, and I believe the magnetic fingerboards have one pole towards the
neck and one towards the fingerboard. Yes I've done a lot of work with
magnets, both as a luthier and as a physicist and I should have known
better. BTW, your guitar work looks first rate. I have a few of my pieces
