my nephew

A very talented nephew of mine has a knack for composing electro-acoustic music. His last piece is distinctly microtonal where he apparently recorded his own voice next to his ney in what sounds like a contrapuntal texture. And he never received any music education either!

Wow. I liked "Knots and Folds", and the physics stuff looks really
interesting. And the artwork too. Talented fellow, obviously.

Very nice, Ozan! He is very talented; I assume he plays the bendir as well as the ney and vocals?

Ozan,

Dervis Can Vural seems to be very talented indeed - Music, Physics,
Artworks - a veritable polymath! It's great to see young people who are not
blinded by specialist blinkers.

Yahya

Oops, I meant to say cousin, not nephew! That would make me look damn too old. :)

I think he imitates the percussive sounds with his Roland sound module which
I do not remember the model of but which is very professional. Nevertheless,
the kiddo could just as well start playing the bowed tanbur like I use to
do. :)
