cents notation

Wait .. .are you using it for music written for keyboard? That wouldn't
make sense (I don't think) . . . . . .

It seems to me that cents-notation only makes sense for instruments,
normally tuned in 12-TET, that can bend their pitches, or where pitch is
not fretted/delimited in any way.

Hi Christopher,
Yes, I write orchestrally, using a keyboard as
composing tool. So the "cents" system is the one the
instrumentalists want. Since we seem to be working on
a universally agreeable notational system, I'm just
putting in my two cents for cents.
