Thought some of you guys might be able to take advantage of Timidity.

I've created a webpage/blog, Making Microtonal
Music with Software to store some docs I've created about using
Timidity and SoundFonts to make arbitrarily tuned musics.

I'll put other tips and tricks I learn or have learned, given the
time, there too. I've left Commmenting on, until I get seriously
spammed. You can always email me your comments if I have to turn
Commenting off. (Comment Spam is the nightmare of the Movable Type user).

Hope this is useful, it stands at least, as a testament to the
incredible amount of help I received on MakeMicroMusic in making this
process work in such a beautiful way.

All of my sourcefiles, and tips on decompressing sfArk files are there
in that first blog entry.

I've also got all new renderings of my 3 19ET piano preludes up, FWIW.

I've explained how to do it twice over there--did you see it? It may
not have worked for you because you needed to put "\\" in your sf2
path for some reason.

Anyway, I think the whole process can be made even a little more
painless than you suggest.

I'll check it out, but I've got to download Joe Peherson first. :)
