Hi there, I'm still dumb at csound, and I was wondering if there were
an easy way to write the notes in cents...

I just created a way of doing so, but I guess it's way more
complicated than it should, with lots of calculation and variables and
stuff...

I created a parameter for the note in cents, and another parameter for
the ocatve...

anyway, I was just approved and I'm studing microtonality for my
masters degree in composition at the Sao Paulo State University of
Campinas (UniCamp) here in Brazil...

cheers

hi,

i'm no expert myself but you might want to check out:
http://kevindumpscore.com/docs/csound-manual/cent.html

i generally score using frequencies and have not used
this myself.

something else that may be of interest... BLUE by
Steven Yi (you can find it from the CSound page).
it is a multrack front end (and more) to CSound
written in Java and cross platform.
just a week or two ago he added the ability to use
SCALA files by applying a Scala scale to an
instrument's score.
