Harry Partch program by Danlee Mitchell at SDSU

Geordan Mitchell, Danlee Mitchell's son, called me today to tell me
to let everyone who might be interested know that Danlee will
present the program commemorating Harry Partch's centennial that
he gave at UCLA earlier this year. The presentation will be in the
Smith Recital Hall in the Music Building at San Diego State University
this Thursday, October 7 at 7 PM.

i went to this. it was quite good. Jon Szanto was also
on the panel. and it was great to see _The Dreamer That
Remains_ yet again ... that movie makes a stronger impression
on me every time i see -- truly a marvelous tribute to Partch.

the photo of Partch playing the Cloud Chamber Bowls which
prefaced every copy of the printed program was done in a
sea-green tint that was very nice. a real momento to add
to my Partch collection.
