hello all,

i was behind a car the other day which
had a license plate that i found very
interesting.

here in California, standard-issue license
plates are of the form nlllnnn, where n is
a number and l is a letter.

this one said "5HAV386".

recall that prime-factor 5, when 8ve-reduced,
is ~386.3137139 cents.

:)

and i'm pretty sure that it was not a
"personalized plate" which the driver deliberately
constructed, since it follows the standard format.
