Send an email to <listproc@varese.mills.edu> with "index tuning" (no quotes
of course) in the subject to get a complete list off ALL the digest
available. You'll get a 77kb message.

I never got this list. The server always sent error messages like:

I may have goofed. Send to : <listproc@eartha.mills.edu>

To retrieve multiple digests send a command like :

"get tuning digest.500"

repeated one after the other like :

"get tuning digest.500"
"get tuning digest.501"
"get tuning digest.502"

as many as you like.

I found that listproc@eartha.mills.edu sporadically *may* not respond at a
certain time of day. But it will ultimately respond, and usually seems to
work just fine.

I will have it all up on the web soon anyhow.

And here's the weird Mac program. For a truly strange listening experience,
download (120kb) the mp3 player "JARED Butcher of MP3" & listen to some mp3
music files :

http://hyperarchive.lcs.mit.edu/HyperArchive/Archive/gst/snd/jared-butcher-o
f-mp3.hqx

If the long URL gets messed up by email, go to
http://hyperarchive.lcs.mit.edu/HyperArchive.html
and search for "jared butcher of mp3" .

You could get hooked...
