I FOUND THE ARCHIVES !!!! I FOUND THE ARCHIVES !!!!

I spent some time sleuthing about to try & track the archives, which I was
sure were somewhere on Mills' FTP servers. No luck, Then I found the info
(at CCM) for subscribing to the old list at Mills, & used email to discover
that they ARE ALL there (somewhere at ella.mills.edu, judging from the email
headers) and can be retrieved by email !

So, did someone know about this & not tell me ? Huh ? Meet me in the yard
after class ;-)

Here's the info :

1) Send an email to <listproc@varese.mills.edu> with "index tuning"
(no quotes of course) in the subject to get a complete list off ALL the
digest available. You'll get a 77kb message. The messages/digests
available are from APRIL 94 upto TUNING digest 1617 (should be the last
one before we moved to OneList.

2) To retrieve a single digest, send an email like :

"get tuning digest.500"

Messages & Digests up to Digest No. 499 from Sep '95 are also at
<ftp://ella.mills.edu/ccm/tuning/list/archive/>
So you should probably get those from there. From digest.500, use email.

If it's o.k, I'm gonna have the entire archive up on the web, searchable,
and also downloadable in reasonably sized zipped files.
