Missing notes

Which of the 16.66666666666666666666666% of the notes to leave out in
changing 12ET------->10ET?

Could we not do this randomly?

Or, for that matter, translating 12ET--------->19ET, which notes should we
"squeeze in"?

Always room for experimentation.....

Any ideas?
