Hi

I'm Shahin Mohajeri from iran ..... I'm interested in the field of
scales and intervals and new theories related to.

I'm new member of this group and want to know if you can help me about
new concepts of scale and intervals.

I saw in the mails new expressions such ... chain , block , bridge and
so on.

May be a new theory .... So can you tell me where to find details of
this new theory and other in the web.

Thanks a lot.

Hi--I imagine people here will be eager to here what you might want
to say about Iranian music. Much of the theory here is mathematical,
and where you should go to read about it depends on how much math you
know, but the theory links on the tuning-math page would be one place
to start. Paul Erlich is now polishing a paper which is likely to be
where many people will want to start exploring these questions.

A lot of the language can be found in the Tonalsoft Encyclopaedia of
Tuning, which will contain some links to theoretical articles as well:

Sorry you walked in at such a technical moment -- it must seem like a
foreign language to you!

Best,
Paul
