my pipe organ tuning

After fretting for a long time about what tuning I was going to put on my
3-rank pipe organ, I finally decided to temporarily divide the organ in 2
and put 1 rank in Barnes well-temperament, and 2 ranks for the moment in a
just tuning that has a limited amount of 7-limit and 11-limit intervals.

I've been wanting for some time to hear a real physical instrument tuned to
a harmonic scale (otonal), so I could experience the clear implied
fundamentals and coincident difference tones. I decided that the more
extended 12-tone harmonic scale which gives harmonics up to 23 or so was too
limiting to modulation, so I decided to use this scale:

C C# D Eb E F F# G G# A Bb B C
1 25/24 9/8 7/6 5/4 4/3 11/8 3/2 25/16 5/3 7/4 15/8 2

which gives me all harmonics through 12 in C, and all harmonics through 10
in F, while still sufficing as a reasonable 5-limit just scale giving 4:5:6
chords in C, E, F, G, and A. So this is basically the Duodene scale, not
with the standard key center, with 3 notes changed to give some 7 and 11
intervals.

Result: I'm thrilled with this tuning. I'm pleased with the melodic
variety offered by the presence of the two 7-limit "notes" (Bb and Eb) and
single 11-limit "note" (F#) if you'll excuse the abuse of tuning terms. And
I finally get to hear the clear implied fundamental from a non-synthesized
source. I'm in the process of getting geared up to do be able to do some
recording over the next few months, so you will get to hear the results
eventually, in the form of some improvisations, and maybe some questionable
interpretations of a Messiaen piece or two.

Thanks Gordon and Leen for the encouragement.

It will still probably be 2 or 3 months before I can afford to buy the
recording gear, but you will hear from me then.
