When I read of microtonal music performance events in the USA it makes me
envious that I'm so far away from the action. Does anybody know of similar
events happening Down-Under?

Stuff happens in Oz, but fairly adhoc and people like myself who put on the
odd Just Intonation concert tend to forget to advertise it outside of the
home town. I've put on three at the Queensland Conservatorium in the last
two years and am happy to let you know of anything else.

Cheers

wow, wild & wooly Aussie microtonalists!!!!
(better not call 'em "raw prawns"!!! hehe...)

You guys DownUnder know of any good contemporary
digeridoo players on CD that use the timbral/dronal
qualities of said instrument "to the max(ium)"?

<my dad was partly Sydney-educated on a Commonwealth
Scholarship... & my family has some deep "mate"-like
friendships with a few expat Aussies>
