This furthermore, as I am from Germany, where the art of reading between the lines is not very well developped (anymore).
So I am not certain how ironic your response was.
Actually, I came to this scale as a critical remark to Paul Hindemith's (1895 - 1964) studies in counterpoint and harmony theory.
But please tell me, if that scale has been described in your culture, I am not aware of any predecessor.
