And i do not agree with the New Academy of n-tetists jockeying to install
the Arithmetico-musical gauntlet.

"the New Academy of n-tetists jockeying to install the Arithmetico-musical
gauntlet" (?)

Could you possibly elaborate on this?

Yes Dan I shall
I love tuning up pure intervals not ones to show how clever I am.
I think tuning is primary to learning music. Yet I feel some folks are
overthinking Tetism. You guys are obviously VERY experienced at equal temps but
the horrible truth is Just that-- they are temperaments.I realise this is a
tuning site not a Just site..So i shall not disrespect what you gentle folks
are enthusiastic about. I think my Original message was in response to an
overcomplicated response to a simple question....I cannot recall...
I'm sorry. I do have a tendency to be inflammatory....blame Sarn
