license owners.

Greetings,

Please excuse a rather low level questioning, but my knowledge
of MIDI is not great.

If I create a music score using Finale then convert it into MIDI,
can I open it in Max Magic Microtuner for playback?

After that can I alter the tuning to create different versions of the
same piece (saved to file?) say in meantone, welltemperament
etc...

And finally, does the program permit MIDI to aiff conversion?

It seems to me that the ability to bypass performance and
performers when going from notation to musical (or
semi-musical) results would be a boon to microtonal
composition. For me it would help develop my sensitivity to
microtonal adjustments.

Many thanks in advance!

All best wishes,

Gordon Rumson

I think quite a few people on this list have done this sort of thing;
hopefully they can tell you which tools they used (I know SCALA is a
great choice, and it's free . . .)

Also try the MakeMicroMusic list . . .
