upset about Monz dictionary

For the first time, I think, ever (just about, except when Monz
wasn't paying his provider fees before Sonic arts, etc., etc. :) I
can no longer, apparently access the important work and pages of the
Monz big dictionary...

I think all this messing around with the Tonalsoft addresses has done
us in! :(

Where are the pages now?? I'm not getting them, in searches or
anything...

:(

C'mon - the domain is necessary for his business.

Relax, Joe. I visted there not two days ago. Either he is making some site-wide changes, and doesn't have code up, or there is a glitch. I'm sure it will get fixed at some point soon enough...

Cheers,
Jon

Monz,

I feel compelled to make you aware of one more possibility, just in case it
happens to work out.

If you are willing to host the sonic-arts.org domain on your servers and the
sonic arts domain owner is up for this, there is probably a fairly easy way
to assure that all the old dictionary links continue to work.

On a unix server this would be as simple as setting up the dict directory as
a symbolic link (a shortcut) to the new dictionary directory for the new
domain. On a Windows server I have no idea but probably there is a way.

apparently a virus attacked my server and replaced all
of the Tonalsoft "index" pages. they've been re-uploaded,
and working fine now.

but you can be sure that when 9:00 AM rolls around,
i'll be calling them up to find out what's been going on!

the entire Tuning Dictionary now resides at the Tonalsoft
address. little by little, i'm also moving over the more
detailed tuning pages in my "monzo" directory.

so the Dictionary pages *should* be loading OK. the links
at the bottom of the page still may not work (i've only
gotten as far as "M", but still going). so if anyone
has a problem accessing any of the former Tuning Dictionary
pages, *PLEASE* post a message here right away. thanks.
