gamaka-s on the keyboard

Hello ALL, Is there a way to play gamakas (on the keyboard) through a computer/synthesizer other than by using the pitch bend ?

A gamaka is an ornament. It is connecting (two) notes somewhat like a glissando, but with greater vigor, without sounding intermediate shruti-s. It has a peculiar robust "attack".

Thanks and regards,
Haresh.

The Korg MS2000 has a portamento knob that works just fine.
