I couldn't get it to work either. And "permissions problem" sounds like a
good guess to me too, 'cuz when I sent "index tuning" to
"listproc@eartha.mills.edu", it listed the file names, but then "get tuning
digest.1089" yielded "Sorry, file digest.1089 not found in specified archive."

Samuel (system administrator) or Toyoji (list moderator) at Mills College
may be able to help; here's their emails:

Samuel Dries-Daffner <daffners@mills.edu>

Toyoji Tomita <toyoji@mills.edu>

Hopefully, all it will take is a Unix "chmod" command to correct the
permissions.

Hey, maybe a similar approach will fix Dante's issue as well:

Good luck, and thanks to everyone who is looking into making all this info
available to the tuning community again.

At the end of May, 1997, I remember listproc crashing...the same gap in
digests (between May 28th and June 12th) exists in the didjeridu@eartha
archive...

luckily, when I posted this gap on the didj.board, I was able to get the
missing digests...

So what does the archive listing represent as digest.1089, digest.1090,
digest.1091 are listed there. Are we in a situation that there are no
files to recover?

Regards
