IIRC I thought that 12EDO was just some kind of truce between ergonomics,
mechanics, theory and acoustics, not a *holy grail*. Especially modern
music theories are pernicious in this regard.

And to be dogmatics about 12EDO - this list is not really interested in
that either.

I don't know why other people joined this list, but I did so because I am
fascinated with the idea that music can be expressed in many different ways
with very different 'gamuts'. I have my views, but I am always willing to
listen to a clear presentation of other views.

Most of all - Listen to your ears, but know when they are lying to you.
