Hi All,
I couldn't bear to have my Windows tuning editor lying around doing
nothing so I'm making it available for free. You can find it at
http://www3.telus.net/FredandJulie/Fred/TuneEd.zip

I'm no longer using Windows as my primary OS, consequently I am
unwilling to spend much time working on it but I will fix bugs and
add minor features provided doing so isn't too time consuming.

From the help file:
The Tuning Editor requires Windows 95 or greater. At least one
working MIDI out port for sending tuning information to your synth
should be set up.
You can also load and save your settings in the defacto standard
SysEx (.syx) file format which is readable by most sequencers.
Synths supported include Proteus 1/2/3, Roland GS compatible, Yamaha
XG compatible, Kurzweil keymap, TX802/DX7II, TX81Z/DX11, Proteus
2000, Ensoniq MR Rack and other MIDI Tuning Standard synths. In
addition you can also use the tuning map to get an overview of how
your synths are tuned. Tunings can be read by the Tuning Editor and
can be saved and shared in the standard Scala tuning format with
the .scl extension. Note that the editor may optionally add scale
comments which Scala will ignore.

Enjoy,
Fred

Hi Fred,

This is a nice application. What's the copyright Taylor/Wilson bit
about?

The code in the Tuning Editor originated in the Uath (Microzone)
setup editor that I did for Stephen Taylor and Erv Wilson as part of
a project for Starr Labs. As such it is owned by them. Stephen
Taylor gave his permission to release a freeware standalone tuning
utility without all the Uath specific stuff.
