"Progress on the microtonal guitar home page. Help !"

About Hansford Rowe :

Is he a fretless bass guitarist, like Brad Catler ?

>Gongzilla (a recent reunion of late '70's Gong including
>Allan Holdsworth).
And does Gongzilla play any microtonal stuff ? I've never heard
of Holdsworth being involved in anything of the sort.

Speaking of fretless, do any of you use fret-line markers on your
fretless instruments ?

Denny, anyone, tell me some more about Glasier and the guitar.

>Oh, did anybody mention Jeff Stayton? He's pretty good on guitar.

Gary, anyone, tell me some more about Stayton and the guitar.
Hey, "Stayton and the guitar", that's got a Robert Johnson-ish
ring to it, no ?

Johnny Reinhard posted this a while back (in August) :

Anyone have info on Gzowsky ?

I remember once seeing an advertisement for a CD with him and Jon Catler on
the cover - and I remember both having lavish JI fret jobs...

Hansford (Hanny) Rowe uses a refretted bass, matched to Jon Catler's
system. Bradford (Butler) Catler chooses fretless, just as he plays
incredibly on Pedal Steel. Brad does play guitar (playing it on the NY
premiere of Partch's December 1942), as well as in Partch's Barstow.

He has a bass fretted to JI. I don't know if he also plays fretless.

The only microtonal stuff is (surprise) a solo bass track.
