Carl, would you *please* tell us what the tunings are so I know which
file I want to download? I don't have a fast connection and don't
want to wake up with egg on my face by discovering I've downloaded
something I don't like.

That's already been announced, if you were paying attention. I
promised Paul I wouldn't announce it any further.

All 5 files are 22 megs, which is about the size of one Mahler
movement on your site.

The point of the exercise is to compare tunings.

I'm not familiar with all of the tunings and therefore see no point
in the exercise. I imagine I could hear 1/4-comma easily enough, but
so what?

You're the one who asked for files.

You're familiar with Vallotti, which is just rotated Young.
You're familiar with meantone, Werckmeister, and et.

Why not use it as an exercise to get more familiar with them?

I asked for *music*, not charades.

In theory.

In theory. In practice, I'm familiar with 1/4-comma and Wilson
meantone, grail, bifrost & etc.

Since I don't know which one is which, that won't work.

In exchange for guessing, you get the answer. Which is
a great way to learn in my experience.

Could you at least put some zips up in a per-piece, not a per-tuning
format? That way I could try it on one piece and see if I go nuts
with all of the extra bother.

OK, you win. Why you want people to download music you expect they
won't like and will throw away is beyond me, however.
